Data Centre Locations

Targetted

Our equipment is located across two cities, London and Manchester as our primary sites across a number of datacentres. We also operate a disaster recovery and diverse site at our head office in St Asaph.

All of these locations are totally independent and the facilities within each are operated by independantly by leaders in carrier neutral, high availability data centre facilities in the UK.

The reason we locate our equipment within third party data centres and not in our own buildings is that we recognise the multi million pounds of investment that has been poured into the facilities we have chosen, which are second to none.

This is the same approach used by a large number of hosting providers who provide services ranging from budget-oriented shared hosting solutions, to high-end dedicated services geared toward mission critical applications.

Unlike many hosting providers that use custom DNS and evasive advertising to hide the fact that they co-locate, we do not try to hide this, nor claim "our own data centres" and believe that co-location is the best strategy for Hosting UK. To this end we have located our equipment at both locations in our own racks within these world class facilities.

Engineers are based on site to ensure the fastest response should any physical intervention be required at any time.

Maintaining our equipment in these two centres allows us to do what we do best: develop and support targeted hosting products, while our data centre providers do what they do best: operate world class data centres. It is a logical partnership that creates a win-win-win situation for our customers.
